Omni acquired the property in 2010.  The property was financed with the issuance of tax-exempt bonds, secondary financing from the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and the issuance of Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).

A $3.7 million rehabilitation of the property was completed in 2011.
