Omni acquired the property in December 2011 with financing from the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD). This property underwent a 236 decoupling upon acquisition whereby all existing tenants on the date of acquisition received enhanced Section 8 vouchers.

A $11.5 million rehabilitation of the property was completed in 2012.
