Omni acquired the property in October 2015 with tax-exempt bonds, secondary financing, and Low Income Housing Tax Credits provided by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). This property received a 20 year renewal of the Project Based Section 8 contract upon acquisition. 

An $18 million rehabilitation of the property was completed in 2016.
