Omni acquired the property in November 2007 with financing and Low Income Housing Tax Credits provided by the New York State Housing Finance Agency (HFA). The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) awarded grant funding to complete energy efficient measures. This property underwent a 236 decoupling and extended the Project Based Section 8 contract for 30 years upon acquisition.
A $9. 7 million rehabilitation of the property was completed in 2008.
