Omni acquired the property in December 2006 with financing provided by Yonkers Industrial Development Agency Bonds, New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal low income housing tax credits and a subsidy from the New York Empire State Development Corporation (ESDC). It underwent a 236 Decoupling upon acquisition, whereby all existing tenants on the date of acquisition received enhanced section 8 vouchers.

A $10.9 million rehabilitation of the property was completed in 2007.
